About Isla Canela Costa de la Luz
Isla Canela in Huelva on the Costa de la Luz is a naturally formed island. It is separated from the mainland by a waterway and is linked to Ayamonte in Huelva by a bridge. Its location is ideal being at the Southernmost tip of the Costa de la Luz. This unique location means it is only separated from the Portuguese Algarve by the river Guadiana.
Isla Canela has the flavour of both Spain and Portugal and is the perfect destination whether it be as a holiday home owner, resident or investor.
The golden sandy beaches of Isla Canela with their crystal clear turquoise waters are a feast for the eyes, they stretch for over 7 km and are of blue flag status.

Isla Canela offers many other activities such as the 18 hole Golf course with its manicured fairways and greens amongst the citrus and olive trees, there’s also a Golf driving range, other sporting activities include a bowling green, sailing, canoeing, diving, football pitch and Nordic walking is popular activity across the area. There are various boat excursions including fishing trips, the shopping centre and the lovely marina with its cafe bars and restaurants.
Isla Canela is in easy reach from any part of Europe, there are two airports to choose from, these are Seville (160 km) and Faro (50 km) crossing the international bridge that connects Spain with Portugal.
