Ayamonte is a fishing village in the province of Huelva, Andalusia. The houses are typical whitewashed there are chuches and busy squares. There is a market called El Mercado de Abastos in the middle of the city center which has fish mongers, butchers, fruit shops, textiles and handcrafted souvenirs. Open Monday to Saturday. This is a great boat trip on board the Jasmin Flor with breath taking scenery, sailing up the Guadiana River which separates Spain and Portugal.
