Both of the organizers have taken the necessary preventive measures to ensure the safety of both participants and spectators. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival and no one will be able to access the venue if their body temperature is higher than 37.5 Cº, the boats cannot use more than 75% of their capacity, and all participants must wear a face mask both on the land and on the sea.
The registration period has already been opened and will remain open until until the deadline which is September 7, 2020 at 10 p.m. All registrations must be done online through the Cruise Regatta page.
The regatta will consist of 2 events that will begin on Saturday, September 12 at 1:00 p.m. and will last as long as they take, the first three classified in each class will be rewarded with a trophy despite the fact that the awarding of these will be done without any spectators.
The Isla Canela Marina and the Isla Canela Yacht Club would like to invite both athletes and spectators to enjoy this beautiful sport of sailing, and enjoy all the beaches that will host this event.
Marina Isla Canela is located in the natural area of Isla Canela, forming part of the municipality of Ayamonte which is in the province of Huelva. It is located in front of the town of Isla Cristina and is the last Spanish port before the nearby Portuguese Algarve.
