In the most central area of ​​Ayamonte Isla Canela there is a small place of nature and relaxation the Prudencio Navarro Zoological Park. This park hosts a number of animals. It is very easy to find as it is located on the edge of the town in the Calle Mayor Narcisco Navarro.

Entrance is totally free and there are different animal species including a pond for turtles, ducks and swans, an enclosure for fallow deer, zebras, several aviaries, tiger cubs, bears, lions and baboons, peacocks and a great diversity of waterfowl in a great pond.

The animals are classified by species and are located in large spaces where their natural habitat is recreated with trees, artificial lagoons and abundant vegetation. You can view them through large glass windows. There are also explanatory panels of each species.

The Parque Prudencio Navarro Zoo is a botanical paradise with more than 40 arboreal and shrub species from all over the world the vegetation is varied and extensive.

There is also a park area for the little ones full of swings to enjoy after a great day of visiting and learning about the animals.

 

The park has two different schedules throughout the year which are winter and summer. The animals have different needs depending on the seasons so the opening hours reflect this.
